Tamara Peachy is a charismatic brunette who plays eccentric, memorable, and endearing roles. On May 19th, 2018 she received a bachelor degree in Theatre Arts from Taylor University. She played the bird woman in the musical Mary Poppins for her last spring semester. She played Nat in the participating show, Rabbit Hole, at the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (Region III). She recently played the role of Ouiser in Robert Harling's play, Steel Magnolias, at Alexandria's community theatre, The Commons. Tamara attended two Playback Theatre workshops led by Dale Savidge and participated in a Commedia del'Arte class—which perfected her knack for improvisation. She is well-trained in Anne Bogart’s viewpoints. She is able to explore a character both abstractly and realistically. On three occasions, she work-shopped and performed in original works. She is an avid playwright and experienced stage actor who is eager to approach and create challenging and complex roles. She also has a strong background in stage management and directing. A well-rounded individual, Tamara is eager to serve your show.
